After replacing the screen the HUD isn’t the same as the factory fitted glass. It seems slightly blurry, and if I move my head from side to side it seems distorted. Previously it was always “flat” against the screen (if that makes sense at all). Anyway, trying to figure out if this windscreen is correct for HUD.
One of the gripes some have (myself included) is that the BMW satnav is shite and the car will only display the BMW nav in the HUD; nothing 3rd party. As for the media - not sure. I’ve connected my Spotify through the car app and I use that, this does display in the HUD.

In two of the options, I can change it, but you see the stretched images and it does not look good. People who bought the same screen and had the original bmw of 6.5, had to encode and change the screen resolution to 8.8. When the original bmw screen has the resolution of 8.8 then it works by doing what you say. A.

With regard to HUD there are several key points that are not obvious. 1. It shows Nav, speed, cruise control, and alert messages on the windshield day or night. 2. It can be switched on and off. 3. You can adjust the steering wheel covering the speedometer and still see your speed on the windshield.
