Now let’s get the new one in there. Pretty much the reverse directions of the removal. Slide the front part of the new tension strut upward into the cradle mount, and slide the bolt into place, from the front pointing towards the rear. Hand tighten the nut onto the bolt, but do NOT fully tighten the nut yet. Front CV Axle question. I just replaced the front brakes on the 300C (AWD obviously), and I noticed the front CV shaft on the drivers side was ripped and leaking. The outside of the inner cv boot was completely ripped away from the metal clamp holding it on the shaft.
