113 posts · Joined 2014. #5 · Jan 12, 2015. Pull the TCCS fuse until you've found what the problem is. It's fuse number 13 in the fusebox in the driver's side footwell. When the fuse is out it's in permanent 2WD and any issues the TOD system might have will not cause further problems.
My 1999 Kia sportage has been great except for the four wheel drive issue. It is a manual transmission however when i put it down into 4-Hi or 4-Lo it just simply won't engage the four wheel drive. I'm going to start some research on the vacuum lines first and then the solenoid.
